Ocean Ridge is a low-rise barrier island town between the Boynton Inlet and Briny Breezes — single-family homes with water on both sides and very little between them and the weather.
OUR SERVICES
Without tall buildings to break the wind, Ocean Ridge roofs take uplift directly at their edges and corners, and salt reaches them from the Atlantic and the Intracoastal alike. Those two facts should drive the specification of every roof in town, and often don't.
Corroded flashing and fasteners, slipped or cracked tile, and leaks at valleys and wall transitions — traced to the source and repaired properly.

FAQ's
Questions from Ocean Ridge homeowners about island exposure, wind detailing and materials.
Because there's nothing upwind to slow it down. Open water on both sides means higher effective wind exposure, and the pressures concentrate at roof edges and corners. A roof installed with field-area fastening spacing all the way to the perimeter is the one that peels first.
Tile and metal both perform well. The more important variable is the hardware and flashing specification, since corrosion — not wear on the covering — is what typically ends a barrier island roof's life.
Yes. A roofing permit with product approval documentation is required, along with inspections during and after the work. We manage that process as part of the project.
