Stuart sits where the St. Lucie River meets the Indian River Lagoon, with a historic downtown core and waterfront neighborhoods that each put different demands on a roof.
OUR SERVICES
Martin County sits outside the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone, but Stuart's exposure is real — a coastal town on open water, with a downtown full of older wood-framed houses and waterfront properties taking salt from the river and the lagoon.
Leaks at valleys, chimneys and porch transitions on older homes, plus corroded flashing on waterfront properties — repaired at the source.

FAQ's
Questions from Stuart homeowners about older homes, waterfront exposure and code.
No. The HVHZ covers only Miami-Dade and Broward counties. Stuart is in Martin County and follows the Florida Building Code's requirements for this region — still substantial, and still requiring tested, product-approved roof assemblies, but not the HVHZ standard.
It changes the hardware more than the covering. Salt from the St. Lucie River and the lagoon corrodes fasteners, flashing and drip edge years before the roof material wears out, so stainless or hot-dip hardware is worthwhile on waterfront properties.
Because of differing assumptions about the deck. An older Stuart home may have original board sheathing, rot at the eaves, and previous roof layers to remove. A low estimate often excludes that work and gets revised once the roof is open — we inspect first and include realistic allowances.
Thank you for considering us for roofing needs. We will get back to you during normal business hours.
